1. Open the damage file to the insurer. Upon opening the claim file you will receive a notice note; 2. Progame the intervention in service. With the note, go to the service unit to perform the repair of the car, establish together with the service date the start of the repair and request the repayment bill; 3. Send your car rental company the required documents: copy of the discovery note from the insurance compny, car registration certificate, ID, driver licence of the third party, police documents/amicable report and service estimate to calculate the number of rental days you are entitled to FREE. You can use the rented car during the period when the damaged car can no longer be used from the moment the damages are found or the vehicle is repaired within the limit of the number of days calculated according to the repair fee.
• you do not have to pay anything if the rental company is authorized and cooperates with the insurer in the "direct settlement" system; • Establish with the rental company what happens if the insurer does not accept the total or partial payment of the rent; • check with the rental company if there is any guarantee, franchise or additional cost if the rented vehicle is damaged; • establish with the rental company what are the conditions and additional costs if you wish to extend the rental period.
If the insurance company has any unjustified delay, you may request the payment of the indemnity for the non-use of the car, from the time the claim was exceeded and until the date of its completion.
